Level 1 update

Kia ora Koutou Stanley Avenue families,

Isn’t it great to be at Alert level 1! A big thank you to everyone for their efforts. Whilst Social Distancing is not required at Alert Level 1, we still have a few procedures in place to keep our students happy, healthy and safe!

  • Parents of Piwakawaka and Pukeko students only are allowed on site to drop off their children if needed.

  • Parents/whānau visiting on site must sign the visitors register in the office.

  • Hand sanitiser is still available when entering the school and can be found on the entrance table.

  • Drinking fountains will be operational from Wednesday 11th June.

  • Class eating and cleaning procedures will remain in place, as this promotes good hygiene.

  • Classes will continue to be collected from the front gate at home time. During this time the playground will remain closed. (This has helped ease pressure on our carpark)

  • We will be open again for Whole School Assemblies. From this Friday onwards we will be trialling hosting Assemblies at 9.15 am to approximately 10 am.

Stanley Avenue School will review the above procedures and systems on Friday 12th June.

Have a fantastic week!

Mr Byers
